User-Contributed Transcription You had a lot of grafting done? I did not think so much of it but those Harlow Grafted Trees need manure. The great numbers of young nursery trees near them steal away all the nourishment from the soil.

Does your corn come up well? Do you be likely to sell any of your horses this summer? How much wood do you shear? Do you hoe those young trees set out in the garden occasionally this summer?
What do you do about your cultivator or Horse Hoe. I almost wished I had sent up one or the other at any rate. You certainly ought to have one.
I suppose they save considerable work in hoeing. And you have considerable to do including carrots
