User-Contributed Transcription the Love of God. But as far as any thing else is concerned, the mere filthy lucre on which foolish men set their minds in this world, what this world calls property, silver & gold, houses and lands, nothing is more certain than that "as we brought nothing into the world we can carry nothing out." The Bible is no more explicit on that point than are the teachings of mere human reason. This right of property so called on Earth, the dirtiest of all the dirty possessions of this dirty planet will undoubtedly be most strictly confined thereto. Returning to a previous point of the Right of one man to $100,000.00, or to 50,000 acres of land. You advance no proof more than I did. Now I maintain it to be a very questionable Ethics that gives such a right. Since men to be sure may be worthy of such right: may be more worthy that is of the right to 50,000 acres than another man to one: as one man may be more capable & worthy of reigning  for 100000 men than another is of governing himself. My principles of government might permit me to say he had the right. I suspect yours would not. You say "Any"man. What you say of the "right & security of private property" may mostly be true: though it is made a great bugbear of, too often; is is made the foundation of a great many theories both of morals & politics that certainly ought to have a better foundation, if they have any.It is made the great corner stone of Tyranny. and unfounded government; in the principal foundation thereof, since that old "Right Divine" principle as been so jostled about it cant be relied upon.    Metcalf beareth - Argent,  three calves, in chief, passant. Sa? what is that? abbrev. for Sanguine, sable? I do not know it. Crest etc. & Motto.very good as far as it goes. perhaps, as you say, not full or correct, you say you have not seen the portrayal or description lately! Did you ever see it and not copy description & portrayal both? That would
