But as far as any thing else is concerned, the mere filthy lucre on which foolish men set their minds in this world, what this world calls property, silver & gold, houses and lands, nothing is more certain than that "as we brought nothing into the world we can carry nothing out." The Bible is no more explicit on that point than are the teachings of mere human reason. This right of property so called on Earth, the dirtiest of all the dirty possessions of this dirty planet will undoubtedly be most strictly confined thereto. Returning to a previous point of the Right of one man to $100,000.00, or to 50,000 acres of land. You advance no proof more than I did. Now I maintain it to be a very questionable Ethics that gives such a right. Since men to be sure may be worthy of such right: may be more worthy that is of the right to 50,000 acres than another man to one: as one man may be more capable & worthy of reigning for 100000 men than another is of governing himself.
