CompanyDunbarton  Feb 9, 1856                                                            No. 48 Michigan Ave,                                                                                             Chicago,  Feb 2 1856My Dearest Here I am again writing to you;  Mainly perhaps for the lack of anything else to do; and when I sit down to pen, ink and paper I most naturally begin to address myself to you.  I wrote to you last night, but there is not knowing when letters will reach their destinations, or even start now a days. So one may as well keep writing, even if there is nothing new interesting or important to write. I wrote last night how I was detained here and Milwaukie, and was likely to be until Monday at least. Shall I confess to you what I did after having written to you. I had overlooked the papers for lectures or subjects of entertainment  I found that Mr Wight the Editor of the Prairie Farmer was to lecture at Gregory's Com. & Ag. College, upon Agricultural tools &c. So I hunted up the place, and listened quite interestedly to his comparison of the Agricultural tools
