Dear Bro' Charles
I suppose you would like to hear how we get along here in this house of sickness.
I wrote you a week ago, telling of Little Willie's death, and how the rest were sick.
Nettie is still sick abed; though the Doctor pronounces her "getting well." She has got about over the Dysentery, and begins to gain strength in fact has set up more than half an hour this morning. We hope she will now gain health and strength very fast.
Little Wilder is very well.
Father & Mother Putnam are both still very sick, though we hope now improving. But in their feeble
