User-Contributed Transcription You say I must be careful of my health. I intend to be so. I have learned I think to realize the importance of health more than I formerly did. Being with my brother I think has taught me some thing in that respect.  My health has always been so good that I have thought little of it, and have been perhaps unnecessarily careless of my self sometimes. I intend to "take it easy" now. I have certainly a great load of care and responsibility, but I do believe with you that "Life's cares are comforts", or at least that they are necessary to our happiness. I was very sorry to hear that Henry was no better when you wrote, I hope he has at least begun to recover before this time, and that I shall soon hear of his rapid convalescence. It must be quite a trial to you to be teaching away from home while he is so sick as he was when you wrote.Has Henry had any other Medical advice since he came home than your Dunbarton physician? When a friend is very sick I cannot be contented without wanting the best advice that can be obtained. You know the proverb that in the Multitude of counsellors there is wisdom. Brother Joseph they think at home is still recovering but very slowly indeed. I have had two or three letters from there since I last wrote to you. I did not hear sooner because their letters were at first directed to Henniker. I have also a man here in my party from there, an acquaintance of our folks who left there last week after seeing Joseph.  I am very glad to hope that I am forgiven for my breaking the Sabbath the day that I was at Dunbarton. I am certainly very much obliged to your
