Lucy's school, I suppose continues much yet! (Dont work too hard) 'Take you time, Miss Lucy! In school & out. By the way, Lucy sit down in school and write me a real good long letter some day. I dont believe in too hard too much work for too little. I have done too much of it myself already. At any rate 'do write' all of you, Mother do write Joseph & Eliab Ann, I want to hear about all your affairs. & Charles business etc. etc.I am sorry I did not carry you some great foolscap paper to write me letters on this Spring.
