I rather think I could spare a couple of hours per diem from my multifarious occupations, to attend to that branch also. To be sure, one day when she went off visiting singing meeting or something, I came near getting wound up in it myself: One of my subjects called Charley being left by her in a remarkably cross, fretful & sickish state. However I finally drugged him with ' lasses and got him to sleep, did the same by Joseph & Mr. Temple who was then present, and then went off to ploughing in the field.
