User-Contributed Transcription I am really glad that you could go to Milo, and stop a little while. It must have done Joseph good, besides being very pleasant for all the rest of you. I wish you could stay there a month or two.So your Herbarium is fairly fixed up. I am right glad to hear it. You say Joseph is weaker than in June but does not lie down near as much. What does that mean? It cannot be that having no one there to take care of him all the time, he does not lie down or change his position as often as he otherwise would on account of giving less trouble to Charles. If that is the reason or if that has any thing at all to do with it, it is certainly not right - not by any means; and must be seen to immediately, Do write to me about it. And write to Mother & Joseph & Charles. All ought to know better. Joseph could not do so.I do believe he is better, even if he does lose strength in his limbs. He must be better than in May and June or it would be impossible. You must be very careful of your health - more so, far more so, you ought to be than you are. It is a great entirety to kill one's self, and with all the good advice that I have given you, you certainly cannot pretend to have the excuse that you do it unknowingly. What do you have Charles Harlow there for? Is there nothing to prevent it? You ought not to.--------David Copperfield you shall have - sometime. I am glad Mr. Wilson goes to Milo instead of Mr. Temple. Are you folks changing your opinion of E. B. Webb already?
