User-Contributed Transcription Jan 5 Tues. cold wave Petunia had calf last night. Father rode down town. Paid $3.00 C.E. Social. Led meeting in eve. Jno 17Jan 6 Wed. cold Dr. Moysey to see Petunia. Drove over to West Side to see Pat Carlin about calf. Sawed wood at home. Meetg in eve. Marion led. very good. told story of her own conversion. She had been wishing to be a Christian but did not know how. The verse "What soever ye shall ask in my name I will do it came home to her. She that "I have asked God to make me a Christian and I am one" and she got up in a meetg and said that she was. Father wrote several letters and brot them out for Marion to add a word. He told in the letters about his heart trouble.Jan 7 Thurs. little warmer . Used Petunias milk at home. One teat gives no milk. Father rides to town every morning. Cant walk much. P.M. banked up hen house a little. Geo R brot load of wood.
