User-Contributed Transcription fall - I have had May's shoes mended twice since we came here. I thought some of getting her a new pair, but rather concluded there is not difference enough in price to make it an object and that she had better wear these out first.George sits here ( I am in his study) writing sometimes. He has besides the usual duties tomorrow a funeral to attend of an aged man. Last Wednesday he attended two funerals one an aged lady, the other a young man. You have written of no death, I think, since I left. George will take his vacation next month I think Fanny will go to Dedham with George. Mr. Abbott the other pastor here is already gone with his family also the Baptist preacher. People do not want George to go till these return, or one of them.With great love to you all,Nettie
