Mother and Louise are both in poor health, L. will go West - to spend the winter with Mary if nothing prevents, she has been delicate for a year and I fear will have a consumption if she is not careful, the Dr. says all she wants is to have more blood her face is nearly as white as this paper, Abbie is at Derry at school, she boards at Uncle Leonard Parkers he is settled there now, at the upper village Helen Hammond is married to a man by the name of Marshall (no one you knew) and has a son Abbie Wilson Colby has a daughter Mrs Charles Kimball has two little girls Sadie 3 years old and Anna one, Mrs Proctor Hammond has a son two weeks old Eliza Mills has a son and alas has no husband to rejoice
