User-Contributed Transcription magnificent scale, till we were forced to stop entirely, and wait for sleds to go through before us. I went into a house nearby till the road could be broken out; and it was half past four ere I reached home. But I enjoyed the long visit finally commencing with prized friends and playing and talking with little prattlens. However, I am right glad to find myself once more at home. The warm welcome from father, mother and Jenny made me thank Heaven again for dear friends - home friends. I found another letter waiting for me making the sixth in the year.I must wish you a "Happy New Year". I have, many times before this, in my heart. I shall look anxiously for your next letter. We should like to know as definitely as convenient, when we may hope to see you, so that we may send to George. More glad that I shall be to see you again, the time has seemed so long. Most truly yours,Antoinette
