User-Contributed Transcription I suppose that less than one half the hard work that you have done on that farm would have made you independently rich here & probably 20 years ago you could have got a good farm here for half what that cost youBut the query is whether it is not too late now to pull up stakes if you should want toIt is a fine country for Fruit of almost every kind did you notice when you were here what fine thrifty looking apple & cherry trees higher than the top of this high house that have not growing more than 10 or 12 years Pears Peaches quinces & grapes in abundanceThe Dr. says you had better sell your Farm & come out here & take or hire some land for one season & that would give you time to look round for a place to buy - I would wish you could have been here years ago if it would do any good --They are about Locating a ladies Seminary here in Elyria on the same without labor plan of Mount Holyoke they expect the cost to be about an hundred thousand dollars so manag'd that the cost to each pupil shall be no more than 60 dollars a year
