User-Contributed Transcription Sabbath April 16. 1854 -Am much better - Isaac came from St Louis 23 March - I was then so weak & nervous that meeting him made me tremble all over & I had to ask him not to talk to me But a kind Providence is restoring to to me health & strength - How thankful sh'd I be -Saturday April 29 -Tomorrow will be our last Sabbath here before journeying East if nothing prevents us. Last Monday we all went to Mr Roots, Tuesday to Little Muddy and Richmond - Spent Wed. at R. while Isaac went to Centralia back to Mr Holts Thursday - home Friday morn - Visited at Mr Hinckly in the afternoon of Friday with Mrs Keyes - Finished three dresses for Mayo - Today Mrs Wall sent him a little white sack - Mrs Holt gave me second Mrs Judson's Memoir We carried "Queechy"? to Mrs Holt & "Voice of Nature" to Mrs Roots - Isaac's very busy tonight at the office - Some days this week cold as Winter White frost one morning - Rain enough to verde? streams very much
