User-Contributed Transcription I had this day written a letter to you and send it down by Charles as he went down to hear Mr. Thurston formerly of Charlestown Academy Deliver a Lecture on Education Well when he got there he found your letter dated 13th so he brought mine back & I will add this piece But I hardly know what to say. If you are determined to try the W.C. still further. I could wish that I had more faith in it. The Lower part of the House will probably be done in 2 weeks, the painting might be done in a week more but Mr. G. thinks the Plastering being done in cold weather onto Green or unseason'd lathe boards will not be fit to sleep in for considerable time but probably the front room might be in 3 or 4 weeks by keeping fire in it Lucy wishes and expects you to come to her house and stay when you leave W. but I suppose from your letter you will of course continue the Water treatment because of course the Dr's
