User-Contributed Transcription I should think that Eliab would like it but I guess she will not consent to it - thinks it would be too much care etc. It is doubtful whether I can get a girl as housekeeper that will not need some looking after & surely it would be very queer for me at my age to attempt to "guide the house besides the care of this little one Tis true God is able to give me Strength & wisdom to do it as He is able to perform any other Miracle. I trust there will be some way found out I expect disagreebles & Trials in whatever way unless indeed it should so turn out that you'd bring Nettie here which I do not wish you to do if it would be to your detriment . If you do find a good Chance at Elyria & feel that it is best for you to go west
