User-Contributed Transcription Eliabs babe has been more unwell of late & they have just decided that they will come up here with him & stay while I am gone to Milo. Eliab thinks it is a great deal more healthy here than where he lives. We expect to go to Milo next week weather permitting It has rain'd almost all this week.Monday morning 29th a fine clear cool morning we've had not frost here yet to injure the vines or anything till last night & has only just crush'd the top of the leaves a little now we've had & are having a profusion of Tomatoes many more than we can use 3 kinds the red yellow & grape. Eliabs Family have not mov'd but have come up here with the baby to stay a while he is better but has grown very poor has got 3 teeth & 2 or 3 more badly swell'd I expect S. will carry Percie & I to Milo someday this week.
