User-Contributed Transcription now they have all got up and doing well able and willing to take care of themselves and you too if you need. it is a bad feeling to be helpless and dependent on others but that is what we must all come to sooner or later. my sickness and lameness has allways been short as yet and I have allways been taken good care of Hannahs health is not very good but she works all the time the children are rather slender Susan is 3 years old just such a lively nervous thing as Abby used to be. I went over the river last Summer saw Beldin Ardelia and Josephs children had a fine visit. Ardelia has got a real good convenient house with Mr. P look as if he was most wore out I dont think he will live many years She is a fine woman has a pretty family I suppose Abby Jerusha and Caroline are all well married. old Mr. Goldsbury is quite feeble Aunt Hasleline has got back lives with Mr Freed Mrs Russell and Edward Mayo and wife have been to see her. they say she looks just as she did 8 years ago Mrs. Russell made me a good long visit last Summer I have not been there since Esther and I went to Brothers and spent the day before she went away Meriah is keeping School I have not seen joanna lately they say she is quite smart last time I went to meeting I heard Mr Hatch I wish I could write something about matters in this town but to tell the truth I dont know much more about the town than you do. old Mr Brown and wife are on the town She is entirely blind I hear from you sometimes in a roundabout way but I want you should write me a long letter and let me no something about every one of your children and grandchildrencan I help thinking but what you will see Warwick once moreI am really afraid you cannot read what I have written I must leave off good bye from your affectionate Sister A M Betsey Conant
