Elyria May 2 - 1856Dunbartongreen the cherry trees in bloom but the Peach trees the Dr. says are as good as dead some few of them perhaps will put out a few leaves but no blossom Anna is very much "driv, fixing dresses bonnets etc. etc. for her girls & her own things for her journey. We have had some very warm days but today (& most of the days) there is a Cold wind from the lake that makes a fire very comfortable. I wish I could tell you just when we shall all get along so that you could be at Parkers. But we cannot even tell what shall be in the Morrow. I suppose if we go so early the Earth & the Trees will hardly have got on their Spring dress In much haste with much love to you all from your Mother If you are writing to Lucy please tell her we are coming
