User-Contributed Transcription over its birth it is a great affliction to the family I am truly sorry for them and for her that she should be left to sin in that way. Your Father visited D. in the spring he was not very well and did not visit as much as he would have done had had it been warmer weather he spoke to us a part of the Sabbath I can realize how sad it must seem to you that your dear old home is occupied by new faces, - you must miss your Mother's letters so much, no one can take a mothers place, it seemed sad to us that she should be taken so soon after she left us but she has found a better country even an heavenly.A year since we had a letter from you brother George giving us a warm invitation to visit him but we have not been able to do so, tho' I know of no friend I should love better to see.We like our new minister very much he reminds us of your brother George
