User-Contributed Transcription I haven't the slightest room for such feelings. I can scarcely wait to see you again. Some changes have taken place - two of my pupils have gone forever. One well-prepared - the other, I fear not, though the poor fellow had few privileges (religiously), and we must think of that. I wish had known it before. He was very much influenced and if I had known, perhaps I might have done more for him. Such things warn us to be on our guard - to do all the good we can - to exert as positive an influence as possible. It is pleasant to turn from his sudden and perhaps doubtful death, to Ella's sweet christian character - to be able to think with certainty, she is happy now. Our house is progressing finely. We do so enjoy the fresh pretty paper, and paint, and the rearranging things. I hope in a week or two to be at house again, and help lift something.
