User-Contributed Transcription At sister Conant'sWarwick Sept 10th 1853My Dear Son, I wrote to you last week but think I'll write again because I do want answer from you directly so that I can know whether you are coming & if you are coming--when so as to make my calculations accordingly--If you don't want to come, or think it not expedient to come--you need not consider it necessary for you to, on my account for I can go back alone without any difficulty or danger I think.--Tho' it might be pleasanter to have company. If any thing should prevent your coming and I do not hear from you before that time I think I shall start for home about the 25 of this month You need not feel that it is any great affair or needs any great preparation--you can come from Bangor here in 24 hours at the cost of about 4, or 4,50 & you won't want to stay more than a week you can see all the folks you'll want to see--as long as you'll want to see them--I have been down on the Brook one day which is all I care about it is so long since I've seen 'em much & I feel so unacquainted that I don't care to stay any where except with sistersWhen I came I left the Greenfield port at Grants and got into the Brattleborough Cars & came on to Northfield and Mr. Parsons brought me out here You can do the same or stop at Wendall which is about as near here if I could know just when you'd come I guess I could get Mariah to go down there after you
