User-Contributed Transcription over Tuesday morning and walked round the grounds, and right home again, and have hardly got over the tired yet. I cannot see why I get so tired walking- This morning we (boys & I) have been working in the "front bed" getting the weeds out and trimming off dead branches and it looks better- but we cannot fasten up the big climbing rose- Mr Ryan hasn't been here since you left, and O! How the whole garden needs him! Things grow. The cucumbers are up nicely_ I sent a lot of asparagus over to Eliabs yesterday. The church is being cleaned. They have a portable stove and heat the water on the spot, and I imagine are doing the job thoroughly-John has just come running out from the bedroom having had his nap and jumped out of his cradle and safely arrived in the dining room
