User-Contributed Transcription trial, not only with calm submission, but with heartfelt joy, believing that God has "with unerring hand" worked out "his plan" of Susie's life, and has taken her thus early to his own home. I know she is far happier now, and I trust she has formed her work. Her loving active spirit so longed to be useful while she dwelt on earth that I can but feel that she is now with Him, "in whose presence is fullness of joy." We know she is not clogged by a poor weak suffering body, often requiring rest. Oh how often she spoke of the rest of Heaven. I wish you could have seen her in her last days, so peaceful and happy, So delighted that she was "going home". She never spoke of death in any other way than going home.Jan. 18th I would not send this old letter if I thought I should be well enough to write a whole one soon,
