User-Contributed Transcription Monday morn. A Delightful morning. I should have started for Yarmouth today only May's shawl was left at Dea Parker's and they forgot to bring it to meeting yesterday, and I have to wait a day to get it. Mrs. William Whipple is coming for me after dinner and she will take me to Mr. Ryder's, and Charles Ryder will take me to John Kimball's to night. He thinks Ryder would carry me to Manchester from his house but some of my things are at John Kimball's. It is a little unpleasant with all the pleasant to be toted about in this way, but I enjoy seeing the people. But I begin to be impatient to be home. It seems sometimes as if I could hardly wait. I suppose I must stay and see father a little more. They want me to go to Westboro', but I think I cannot. I feel sorry not to go to day to Yarmouth, but I thought the shawl was worth waiting a day for. Capt. Whipple seems just as ever wants to see you. The hills here are grand - no scenery better. Loving Nettie.
