Description Tableau 29 in atlas: Illustrations to Maximilian, Prince of Wied's Travels in the interior of North America. Panoramic view of the junction of the Yellowstone and Missouri Rivers.  Birds, deer and wildlife are depicted. In 1836 Maximilian commissioned Bodmer to create illustrations to accompany the text of his atlas documenting their travels.  These illustrations include 81 plates of aquatints.
