Summary Collection of 27 manuscript fragments and bifolia probably assembled in Germany in the early 19th century. Contains a wide variety of texts from the 8th century through the 15th century, mostly written in Latin with some German, Greek, and Hebrew. Includes fragments of a sermon by Saint Boniface, selections from Isidore of Seville's Etymologiae, and fragments of Bibles, medical texts, legal documents, and florilegium. Most written in gothic scripts but two written in Insular scripts (consult Clemens, R. Introduction to manuscript studies, pages 138-139). Many of the fragments appear to be formerly used as book bindings.
