Summary Rough sketch map by William Aird of Little River, Okla. showing road network centered on the junction of the Canadian and Little Rivers, primarily in the twentieth century Oklahoma counties of Seminole, Hughes, and McIntosh.  Accompanies 5 p. letter dated Feb. 20, 1869 from Aird to U.S. cavalry officer Benjamin Henry Grierson at Fort Gibson, Okla., describing and comparing various routes.
