Summary Letters from Red Fox Skiuhushu, a Blackfeet Sioux Indian, addressed to B.J. Palmer, chiropracter and Medicine Eagle of the High Council of the Blackfeet Sioux, and to Edward E. Ayer, member of the Board of Indian Commissioners, requesting appointments as guides for himself and his cousin, Black Hawk, in one of the western national parks, preferably Yellowstone. Skiuhushu advocates training and appointing Indians to guide, warden, and forest ranger positions in the national parks as a means for them to become independent and self-supporting.  He also recommends using surplus unalloted reservation lands for the livestock industry, rather than selling them to white settlers.
