Dear Mrs. Hecht,

Thank you for writing to Mama, she was so glad to hear from you and so was I, glad you enjoyed your visit and as you say "We ole womens must get together again."

To bad you had that fall but thankful you weren't hurt more seriously.  You know Mrs. Hecht you could sue me.  I'm insured, tell you what.  I'll go "wackys[?] with whatever you collect.

Thanks for the check and for all the nice things you do for Mama, you know what she said after you left "you know when I saw that woman I could eat her.  I love her she does something
