Description Tableau 4 in atlas: Illustrations to Maximilian, Prince of Wied's Travels in the interior of North America. Landscape view of the Missouri River and the steamship Yellow-Stone which carried Karl Bodmer and Prince Maximillian on their expedition. In 1836 Maximilian commissioned Bodmer to create illustrations to accompany the text of his atlas documenting their travels.  These illustrations include 81 plates of aquatints.
