Biographical/Historical Note Amy Giordano is the Executive Director of GUS: Original Gus Giordano Dance School, which was founded by her parents, Gus and Peggy Giordano, in 1953. Following her father’s passing, Amy produced the documentary, Gus: An American Icon. (2024), Lauren Giordano Whittington serves as the Company Director of GUS, the original Gus Giordano Dance School, which was founded by her grandparents, Gus and Peggy Giordano, in 1953. She teaches both dance and yoga to students of all ages.
