Biographical/Historical Note Peggy Sutton is the director of Mayfair Academy of Fine Arts and the executive director of the Mayfair Performing company. Mayfair Academy was founded by Ms. Sutton's father, Tommy Sutton, in 1957. Since 1978, Ms. Sutton has taught dance, managed the day-to-day operations of Mayfair Academy, while continuing to oversee the creative direction for all of Mayfair’s productions. In addition to her work at Mayfair, she has written, directed, choreographed, and produced a wide range of performance events and theater productions at venues throughout the city; she has received several awards and honors for her work, both locally and nationally.
