Biographical/Historical Note Michel Rodriguez Cintra is a Cuban born dancer, choreographer, acrobat, actor, and educator. After graduation from Escuela Nacional de Arte he danced with Danza Contémporanea de Cuba, reaching the rank of Principal Dancer. In 2008 Rodriguez Cintra moved to Chicago and danced with Hedwig Dances and, in 2013, joined Lucky Plush Productions, touring nationally and internationally. He was a founding member of The Cambrians where he performed and co-choreographed. Currently a Visiting Assistant Professor at Northern Illinois University, and faculty at The Actors Gymnasium, Rodriguez Cintra previously taught at Columbia College Chicago and Lou Conte Dance Studio, among others studios and schools.
