Printed form filled in. 
Summary Georgia land grant dated Mar. 13, 1833 to Memory Walker and signed by Governor Wilson Lumpkin. Located in Muscogee County, Walker received tract No. 135.  Document also includes a small plat drawing. 
Biographical/Historical Note The Treaty of Indian Springs (1825) with the Creek Indians opened up a large area of western Georgia for settlement. From this acquisition five new counties were formed.  A lottery system was used to freely distribute the land to Georgians by lot, generally 202 and a half acres each.
