Description Printed from 9 plates on 9 sheets trimmed and joined to form wall map.
Relief shown pictorially.
Includes four cartouches in the four corners. The title cartouche includes the emblem of the French monarchy, weaponry, banners, and a martlet. The scale cartouche includes tools and objects which depict the local economy, and boughs of fruit, all topped by the seal with a ship and the engraving "Felicitas Populi 1678." The legend includes cornucopias of gold coins, weapons of Colbert, and symbolic objects which depict the activities of the government. The author cartouche in the bottom right is topped by a crown, includes the emblem of the Sun King, Louis XIV, and surveying tools.
