Biographical/Historical Note Originally from Texas, Ayman Harper came to Chicago at the age of seventeen to join Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. After leaving Hubbard Street to dance with Nederlands Dans Theatre II, he was then asked to be a part of William Forsythe’s company as a dancer, guest choreographer, and stager. In the past 25 years, Harper has performed in over 20 countries and taught at companies and universities across five continents. (2024)
