My Dear Sister
I hope that your extended correspondence with romantic little [[Misses?]] will not deter you from occasionally writing me, for hereafter I expect to hear all the news through you as Sam has given up writing me.
My short visit home has made me feel quite lonesome during the last week, next time I must try and make you a longer visit.
Have you decided to go to the Grammar School yet. if so you should be very careful of the acquaintances you make at first, as on this depends your future circle of friends. Much more care is needed in the selection in a strange place than if you were in Taunton
Give my love to Mother and all the family with a lot of kisses for [[little?]] Ella I remain with much love
Your Bro. Chas.
