Pen-and-ink and watercolor (green, brown, red, yellow, blue); mounted on cloth.
Associated with Adrien Pauger and an engineer named La Tour; see Jackson, J. Manuscript maps concerning the Gulf Coast (Chicago: Hermon Dunlap Smith Center for the History of Cartography, 1995) p. 35-36, no. 173.
Related to manuscripts variously dated 1722-1740 in the Newberry Library (Ayer MS map 30, sheet 83, Ayer MS map 156 and Ayer MS map 157), the Bibliotheque Nationale (Ge DD 2987-8823, Ge DD 2987-8824, and "Bibliotheque Impâeriale R.C. 4138"), the Archives Nationales (A.N. N3 no. 3), the Service Hydrographique archives (S.H.A. 138-3-6), and the British Library (Additional 15,332 ki and kii).  Photostats of the manuscripts in Europe (excluding "Bibliotheque Impâeriale R.C. 4138") form part of the Louis C.
