Dear Mr. Hecht,
What a glorious afternoon!! I shall remember it always.
I cannot wait, believe me, to get Zangwill off to press so that I may begin at once the study of Hecht. Our association shall I pray yield a book worthy of so fascinating a subject.
Under separate cover, I sent a Carlebach record to Mr. Hecht. Song one, side one is his rendition of the verse in Psalm 5 she loves so much. I hope she enjoys it.
Esther is just thrilled with the idea of my doing a book about you! She even promises
