Dear Mr. Hecht,
I have just read your life. No, I lived it. From out of your past, I recalled mine. I felt that our lives, though of different background, upbringing, experience, were somehow interwoven. Remember my daughter Debra? She is three now and runs down the street, not after parades, but into the park. You see, Mr. Hecht, my life, too, is just beginning again.
Five years ago we last saw each other. Since that Passover night when you, Mrs. Hecht and Jenny graced our table, I have not forgotten you. You often return to my many day dreams.
