Format Correspondence
User-Contributed Transcription enormous fun- much better than the usual party. Christmas was fun too- I seemed to have about 3 invites for every evening & managed to squash them all in somehow. Even the weather has behaved- a light sprinkling of snow on Christmas Eve & Boxing Day- oterwise crisp, blue skies & sunshine. I had lots of nice Christmas prezzies (yours was the nicest!) including a very handsome dressing-case from Jack & Haya & a jazzy feather boa & some beautiful ear-rings, etc. Also gave a very successful kiddies party- all the children sodden with coca-cola & the parents with champagne! Did you go away for the holiday? I was worried about you & the central heating strike- did it affect you? Am still busy doing research on the Zaharoff film- there's an enormous amount to do & I don't think we can even consider starting to shoot until about September. Peter's Bond movie is going well & he seems immensely happy with it & is in great form.
More very soon, Rose dear- and again thank you- if losing arguments was always so pleasant what a nice world it would be! All my love- & a very happy 1969 Jeanie
PS Will write longer letter when I regain access to my typewriter which is at present buried under a pile of Christmas cards, etc
