Mr. Ben Hect
c/o The "New York Post," N. Y. C.
Dear Mr. Hecht;
As a reader of your daily column "The guide of the bedeviled" I, naturally, admire your fiery outpourings of wrath and uniquely exquisite venomous style while darting your arrows at our hated foe.
Having written the herewith enclosed timely article for my own local purposes, I feel, nevertheless, that it is worthy of a far wider circle of readers than just that of my own congregation.
As this article of mine deals with the same subject, and as in it I am attempting to be a so called "worthy pupil" of yours-- I trust that you will be kind enough to give it your attention, and, if found worthy, you will allow it to "see the light" in your own paper, or do something with it otherwise.
Thanking you most kindly, I wish to remain-, Very sincerely yours, Rev. J. Sivowitch
