use the tapestry woven by Penelope, under the titles- showing a man saying goodbye to his wife, his child & his plough. The chant comes  explains the tapestry the story behind the parting.
If we use this kind of a beginning we would have to use the same kind of ending- in the same '[[poetical?]]' vein. This would mean [[sacrificing?]] our concluding laugh which, in any case, offends them mightily.  They are conviced we are laughing at Homer.
Have you any suggestions? If you strike on what you think is a better idea will you send us a sample.
Again, we feel that there is an obligatory scene missing- between [[Antinous?]] & Penelope. We propose that it should come immediately after Ulysses asks Alicinous for a ship to take him home.
In the dead of night Penelope sits in her room unravelling the work on the tapestry that she had completed that day. [[Antinous?]] surprises her at her deceit. His attitude would be "I've caught you you little bitch You're just leading us on & never really intend
