Summary November 13, 1790, letter from Gov. Clinton advises that the Oneida have no right to lease most of the reserved lands and that white settlers who have leased property will be removed.  He also sanctions the division of the reserved lands among the different Oneida tribes as a means of restoring harmony and friendship, and encloses a copy (lacking) of the state law respecting debts contracted by Indians.
