Summary
61 pencil drawings bound in one volume. The drawings depict tools, pottery, tomahawks, copper and stone axes, fishing implements, musical instruments, canoes, pipes, rock inscriptions, artificial mounds, and landscapes. Also included are depictions of Native American men and women from various tribes, including Iroquois, Blackfoot, Crow, Comanche, Dakota, Navajo, and Pueblo, among others. Most drawings were featured in Domenech's Seven Years' Residence in the Great Deserts of North America (London, 1860). The title of the drawing along with the volume and page number is written in pencil on the verso.
