User-Contributed Transcription village (which is 80 miles outof our route) in consequenceof the flies, with the expeditionas we had first intended -- Mr G. isalso instructed in case he may beable to make the desired arrangementwith the Osages, to proceed to the Kansas?village and make a like arrangementwith them for a meeting -- Mr G.with three of the men accordingly setout this morning with a view toaccomplish these objects --Thursday 28 We left camp last nightand proceeded 'till 10 oclock when we haltedin the prairie & stretched ourselves
