User-Contributed Transcription and some three or four preceedingdays that we havebeen compelled to make longstages -- our horses are sensiblyaffected by it, and many areon the point of failing entirely --Just after dark our Interpretercame up with two KansasIndians, haveing left somefour or five miles behindforty or fifty more of thatnation -- They will join usto morrow, but we shall becompelled to proceed 'till we findtimber, before we can treatwith them
