User-Contributed Transcription with many wishes for good health and an exciting time in Kansas City when you read there.     I enjoyed your columns in the Foolkiller.  I had seen the one on Thomas Hart Benton and we have the book you reviewed.  Next semester I'm going to teach a course on "Painters & Literature," a good excuse to look at a lot of paintings.   I'm planning on taking the group up to Jeff for a look at the murals.   Got any favorite painters in literature?  I'm still filling out my syllabus.   So far The Horse's Mouth, William Carlos Williams Pictures from Breughel, some of Browning's poems, Blake, and a few more.   Say, don't let those guys give you Geritol, make them come across with some Jameson's or Powers or at least Old Overholt.    I'm going to send some pieces to the Foolkiller on your suggestions and I sure appreciate the direction.  Please to find enclosed a tall tale about a baseball player  I'm sure you have heard of, the immortal Jungle Jim Rivera of the Chicago White Sox;  and one you don't know, name of Fred Williams, in the same class as Mrs. Frany, local legend and what the hell here comes Sassafras too.   I hope to find time in the near future to journey to Moberley to see you, until then sweet dreams + happy impulses,Jim Bogan
