Dear Mr. Conroy:
I am writing in regard to my three stories which you gave to Max Siegal. "The Umpire" was, I think, the best of the three. I have since revised it and would like to send it out, but cannot do this as there is any possibility of Mr. Siegal doing something with it.
I know he is a busy man and I appreciate what he - and you- have done in my behalf. However he has had these stories for about one year.
